Role – Sales Development Representative

Mode – Work from office (Night shift starting from 4pm-5.30pm – cabs provided)

Position Overview
The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify decision influencers and decision makers in the pre-construction industry, across trades. The candidate will proactively discover leads with outreach to targeted outbound prospects, will pre-qualify leads based on a set framework and will set up demo meetings with prospects.
We are looking for high-agency and constant perseverance for this role, as you will be making regular outbound communications (calls, voicemails, and email outreach) with 100+ prospects on a daily basis.
This person will report directly to the VP of Marketing & Demand Gen, and work closely with the Outbound SDR team and relevant Business Heads to unlock revenue with outbound-led demand generation.
Key Responsibilities
1. High-Volume Outbound Prospecting
• Execute daily outreach to 100+ prospects across the preconstruction industry (GCs, subcontractors, estimators, project managers, etc.).
• Leverage a multi-channel approach including:
• Cold calls
• Voicemails
• Personalized email sequences
• Maintain consistent follow-ups to improve contact and conversion rates
• Build & manage a strong pipeline of early-stage opportunities
2. Pipeline Generation & Conversion
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined ICP and persona criteria.
• Book high-quality product demos for Account Executives.
• Ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities with proper context and notes.
• Track and influence deal progression from demo booked → closed won/lost in collaboration with sales and RevOps.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
With Product Marketing
• Collaborate to continuously refine messaging across personas and trades
• Share real-time feedback from prospect conversations:
1. Objections
2. Pain points
3. Competitive insights
• Test & iterate on outreach scripts, value propositions, and email campaigns
With Database / Data Team
• Provide structured feedback on:
1. Lead quality
2. ICP fit
3. Persona targeting accuracy
• Help improve segmentation and targeting strategies
• Identify gaps in the prospect database and suggest new data sources or filters
With RevOps
• Work closely to monitor funnel performance, including:
1. Demo conversion rates
2. Opportunity progression
3. Win/loss trends
• Ensure CRM hygiene and accurate activity tracking
• Identify bottlenecks in the pipeline and recommend improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience in SDR/BDR or outbound sales in B2B SaaS (preferably sold to the US
audience)
• Strong communication skills (phone calls + written), with fluent American English
• Comfort with high-volume outbound activity and rejection
• Exposure to outbound experimentation (A/B testing messaging, sequences, etc.)
• Data-driven mindset with experience tracking KPIs
• Familiarity with engagement tools such as Outplay, Outreach, etc. and CRM tools (e.g.,
Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms
